So fairly big news......I got transferred!! In the middle of a normal transfer, still two weeks away from when we would normally have them!!! A little bit weird, but hey, God´s ways aren´t our ways, nor His thoughts our thoughts, so we´ll just go with it! :) I´m now in a place called Tuxpan, finishing the training of an Elder named Elder Aparicio, from the state of Mexico, by Mexico City. He has only been in the mission for 4 weeks, so I´m what they call in the mission his Step-father :) haha...but as far as I can tell, he´s a really good, hard-worker, and this área is gonna be great! Except it´s really, really, really, hot here...and it´s only february...but that doesn´t matter! I was and am a little bit sad about leaving my first and only área until this point, because I have really grown to love all the people there and was really excited for the baptisms I had coming up, but what matters is that they get baptized, not that I am the person that baptizes. But anyway, they put me here as district leader again, even though I don´t really know anybody here or the área, but it´s all good. We just let the good times roll! :) I hope everyone is doing well and would love to hear about what´s going on in your lives! Have a good week, and remember that this church is very, very, 100% true! The sisters in my other área actually just had a baptism this saturday, a 9 year old girl named Meche. We had investigators there at the baptism and were in attendance for that sacred and spiritual experience. After the actual ordainance, she bore her testimony and I just about started crying. It was so sweet and pure and sincere as she testified of how much of a difference the góspel has made in her family, and how grateful she was that the people there had accepted her and her family into the church. Anyway, just know that the Lord loves us, and that we should become child-like, humble, meek, and sincere in everything. I love you all so much, and know that the best thing we can do in this life is obey God. Until next week!
Meche´s baptism! I also got to confirm her the next day, yesterday! They are all such a sweet family, but they actually all just up and moved yesterday, right after sacrament meeting! Really sad, but great that they could get baptized! :) The sister missionaries did a great job teaching her!
