Alright, so this weekend was interesting, with my first baptism and first sacrament meeting talk in Spanish! Both went surprising well, better than I expected! Haha...The baptism was with one of the investigators of the sister missionaries in our ward, not one of our own, but still, it was pretty neat! I`ll send pictures later today, if I can get the camera and SD memory card to work with these computers. But as far as everything else, it`s going well! We just past our first transfer, so that means I have been out here in Mexico for six weeks! That`s pretty quick! And that also means that there will be new missionaries coming in today to the mission even greener than me! Oh, and we have one new investigator that seems really promising, Rosa, a niece of one of the really strong active families of our ward. She has agreed to a baptismal date, the 27th of this month, so we`re hoping we can help her prepare for that day! But yeah, that`s basically my life at this point; let me know how you are all doing! And also, I just want to bear my testimony again of a positive attitude--learning a language isn`t easy, and serving a mission isn`t easy, but I have noticed such a big difference among the times when I`ve made the decsion to just have a positive attitude and be happy, and the times when I let my trials get to me. I really love the 121st section of the Doctrine and Covenants, when the Lord responds to Joseph Smith that if he endures his trials WELL, not murmuring, or whining, or complaining, but well, that he shall be exhalted. It shows that attitude is everything. Anyway, I miss you all and hope the best for all of you!
